Teachers Corner
Children who attend Bahá’í classes for their spiritual education, held in communities across the globe, spend time learning by heart prayers and short verses from the Bahá’í writings—such as “So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth” and “The supreme need of humanity is cooperation and reciprocity.” They listen to stories that help illustrate concepts discussed, sing songs, play cooperative games, engage in creative drama, and carry out artistic activities.
To assist teachers in preparing for classes, we have collected here some recordings of songs, as well as lyrics and chords, that can be sung with children to bring joy to their hearts and to strengthen in their minds attitudes and habits that will enable them to lead happy and productive lives. Teachers can also find here in PDF format the coloring and art sheets suggested for use in the lessons for children’s classes.
